Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant has declined his $31.5 million player option for next season, officially becoming a free agent, according to ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

The moves comes as no surprise, despite Durant's torn Achilles which is expected to keep him off the court all of next season.

Even with the injury, teams will not be afraid to pay a max contract for Durant, who when healthy, is one of the best players on the planet.

He's eligible to sign a 4 four, $164 million deal.

Per Wojnarowski,  the 30 year old Durant is considering the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and LA Clippers.
