Joe Perkins Visiting UL Football

A prep football standout from the state of Mississippi is making a trip to visit the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

Tim Buckley, of The Advertiser, put out the alert on the visit yesterday.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Perkins will be a senior during the upcoming 2019 high school football season, and is scheduled to graduate in 2020.

A member of the National Honor Society, Perkins currently carries a 4.27 GPA.

Perkins has already reportedly been offered by such schools as Army, Austin Peay, Jackson St., FIU, and Louisiana Tech.
