On the final day of the 2013 Major League Baseball season, the Cleveland Indians clinched the top American League Wild Card spot, while the Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers finished tied, and will play a tie-breaker game on Monday, to determine the last team to make the postseason.

The Indians defeated the Twins, 5-1, to end their season with a record of 92-70, which is a 24-game improvement from 2012, when they went 68-94.

Cleveland will host the American League Wild Card game, against either the Rays, or the Rangers, who have identical 91-71 records.

Tampa Bay and Texas will play Monday night, in Texas, with the winner advancing.

David Price will start for the Rays, while Martin Perez gets the call for the Rangers.
