While Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love is a highlight reel regular, it was Hornets power forward Jason Smith (pictured above) who stole the show Saturday night in New Orleans. Smith's stat line of 26 points (new career high), 10 rebounds (ties career high), and 3 steals doesn't resemble just how good Jason played. From defense, to energy, to effort, it was a career night for Smith.

His frontcourt mate Chris Kaman was sensational as well (21 pts, 10 rebs), as the Hornets cruised to a 99-90 victory over Minnesota.

Jarrett Jack missed his 3rd straight game with a sore right ankle, but Greivis Vasquez ran the point like a seasoned  veteran. A double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, along with a sensation +25 in the (-/+) category and one can argue that it was Vasquez' best career game.

One night after scoring 31 in a loss, Eric Gordon (pictured left) only shot 25% from the field, finishing with 10 points. He clocked 25 minutes, his lowest total since returning from his knee injury last week.

The Hornets will have Easter off, then get ready to host the Los Angeles Lakers for a Monday night matchup at the Hive. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
