With only 9 healthy players in uniform, the New Orleans Hornets defeated the Dallas Mavericks 97-92 Friday night at the Hive. Hornets Center Chris Kaman dropped 20 points and pulled down 13 boards for his 4th straight double-double.

Point guard Jarrett Jack (pictured left) took over down the stretch, scoring 6 consecutive points in the final 69 seconds. Xavier Henry had his  best game since joining New Orleans, scoring a season-high 19 points off the bench.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 for Dallas, but did not attempt a free throw. The Mavericks have lost 4 in a row.

The Hornets remain at home tonight for a matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
