Jason Smith (pictured left) scored 22 points in 27 minutes to lead the New Orleans Hornets past the Sacramento Kings by the score of 105-96. Smith shot an incredible 83% from the field, nailing 10 of his 12 attempts.

Marco Belinelli added 21 for the hometeam, who won their 16th game of the season.

Monty Williams continued his trend of giving big minutes to the younger players. Williams has made it clear that he intends to see which young players want to be on the team next season and which ones don't.

Xavier Henry played like he wanted to stick around the Crescent City for awhile, going 6-7 from the field for 14 points in 22 minutes of play. Al-Farouq Aminu started at small forward, scoring 7 points in 27 minutes on the floor. However, it was Aminu's defense that impressed the home fans.

New Orleans will play the 4th game of a 5 game homestand Friday night when they host the Utah Jazz. Tip-off at the Hive is set for 7:00.
