Texas Tech was able to solve the best pitcher in America and as a result, the Red Raiders are in the winner's bracket in the College World Series.

Texas Tech's pitching staff was able to hold a potent Florida offense in check as the Raiders built a 5-1 lead and allowed only a two run homer the rest of the way to earn a 6-3 win at the College World Series in Omaha, NE.

Meanwhile, the Raiders pounded out twelve hits, nine of them off Singer.  The right hander was charged with five of the six runs, although only two were earned because of a Gators' error.
