Louisiana Ragin' Cajun head softball coach Gerry Glasco will be serving as a keynote speaker for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) over the weekend.

Glasco, who will be entering his third season as the head man of Louisiana, will be serving as one of the keynote speakers for the NFCA's Chicago II Coaches Clinic, which is being held in Chicago, Illinois, Friday-Saturday.

Along with Glasco, the two-day event will also feature Lonni Alameda (Florida State), Boo De Oliveira (Purdue), Kate Drohan (Northwestern), and Brandon Elliott (Virginia Wesleyan) as featured speakers

Last season, the Cajuns went 52-6, recording their first 50-win season since 2012, while earning their 21st-consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.

Louisiana also went a perfect 25-0 in Sun Belt Conference play, while finishing the regular season ranked in the top ten in the nation.
