Gerrit Cole Has No Regrets

Gerrit Cole grew up a Yankees fan. But Anthony Castrovince, of mlb.com, says the UCLA right-hander who was selected first in the MLB First-Year Player Draft, this year, has no regrets about turning down the Bronx Bombers, when they drafted him the the first-round, three years ago.

Cole is obviously a good pitcher, but he also seems to have his head on straight.

The Pirates are hovering around the .500 mark this year, and with players like Andrew McCutchen, Pedro Alvarez,  Neil Walker, Jose Tabata, and Cole, the future looks bright in Pittsburgh.
