Geri Ann Glasco, the late daughter of UL head coach Gerry Glasco, who was tragically killed in an auto accident last January, was recently remembered by Justin's World of Softball, one of the top softball sites going.

JWOS listed the tragic death of Glasco as the number two softball story for all of 2019.

A graduate of Oconee County High School, located in Watkinsville, Georgia, Glasco had her number 12 retired by the school last year.

Glasco helped lead Oconee County High School to a couple of state championships (2008 & 2011) and was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year as a senior in 2012.

In the college ranks, Glasco played two years for Georgia, where she was named the SEC Co-Freshman of the Year in 2013, before playing her final two years at Oregon, where she was tabbed an All-PAC 12 selection in both 2015 and '16.

Glasco was working as a volunteer assistant coach for Louisiana when she passed away at the age of 24.

Beloved by her former teammates, coaches, and the entire softball world, Glasco certainly made an impact on the field but touched countless lives off of it as well.

She will never be forgotten.
