Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns make the Arkansas swing this week, and it starts tonight when the Cajuns take on Arkansas-Little Rock at the Jack Stephens Center.

Tipoff is at 7:05pm and can be heard on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns radio network, which includes ESPN1420, Hot 107.9 and KANE (1240am) in New Iberia.

The Trojans (8-11, 5-0 Sun Belt) have been the surprise team since league play started and sit atop the SBC Western Divison.  Four of UALR's wins in league play have come on the road, including an impressive win at Denver.

Louisiana (9-10, 3-2 SBC), split a pair of home games this past weekend, suffering a disappointing loss to South Alabama Thursday night, 70-65) before bouncing back in a foul-plagued win over Florida International in overtime Saturday night, 87-81.

The game will pit close friends Bob Marlin and Steve Shields.  The UALR coach was on Marlin's staff at Pensacola Junior College.  Shields is in his ninth season as the head coach of the Trojans and is 8-4 in his career against Louisiana.

The two teams split their contests last year, with each team winning at home.  UALR defeated the Cajuns in Little Rock last year, 73-68.  Solomon Bozeman's three pointer with just over a minute to play gave the Trojans the lead for good.  That would be the last game the Cajuns would lose in the regular season, as Louisiana then ripped off eleven straight wins to get a share of the western divison title.

Louisiana's revenge against the Trojans came on February 5th when travis Bureau hit two free throws with 0.6 seconds remaining to give Louisiana a 67-66 win at the Cajundome.

UALR has won the last four meetings at the Stephens Center and lead the series 11-6 in games played in Little Rock.

Louisiana leads the all time series 20-15, but UALR has own seven of the last nine meetings.
