No team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit in NBA Finals history and if the Cleveland Cavaliers don't do it now then they're going to be history. The Golden State Warriors take down the Cavaliers in Game Three 110-102.

The game started fast for Cleveland as Kevin Love hit his first three-pointer and scored seven points in the first quarter but the Cavs only lead by one after one.

However, the Cavaliers wouldn't let up as they continued their strong play and it was a likely and unlikely source of the strong play. The likely source was of course LeBron James who was doing it all, setting his teammates up, and scoring with eight points in the quarter. The unlikely source was the forgotten man in Rodney Hood who showed a good shooting touch and aggressiveness as he scored six points. Cleveland lead 58-52 but you could tell the Warriors wouldn't go quietly.

As we've seen plenty of times, the third quarter was owned by the Warriors as they outscored the Cavs 31-23. Much like Cleveland in the second quarter it was a likely and unlikely source that provided the offensive spark. The likely source was Kevin Durant who was phenomenal on this night, he poured in 10 points. The unlikely source was JaVale McGee who dropped a very surprising eight points. The dubs would take an 83-81 lead into the fourth quarter.

Into the fourth with the Q on pins and needles with the thought of going down 0-3 it was basically all Kevin Durant, he put in nine points and the dagger 33 foot three-pointer with :50 seconds remaining to give Golden State a 106-100 lead. From there it was over. 110-102 Dubs and a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Kevin Durant was a machine on Wednesday as he put down 43 points on an ultra efficient 15 for 23 shooting, and 6 for 9 from downtown. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson had off games with only 21 points combined but KD was able to carry the load throughout the night.

For the Cavs, LeBron James didn't go off scoring wise but he recorded a triple-double (33 points, 10 rebound, 11 assists) but he only shot 1 for 6 from triple-point range. Kevin Love produced a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Rodney Hood showed up with 15 points off the bench.

Game Four will take place on Friday in Cleveland as the Warriors lead the series 3-0.
