Future of UL Baseball Bright According to Baseball America

Baseball America apparently believes the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will achieve a high level of success over the next decade.

The site recently spotlighted Louisiana, listing the program of the 10 mid-major colleges primed for a breakthrough in the 2020s.

Following the tragic death of head coach Tony Robichaux, who passed away last July, the Cajuns will be skippered by Matt Deggs, the former Sam Houston St. head coach and a former Robichaux assistant, in 2020.

The Cajuns open their 2020 regular-season schedule on Friday, February 14, when they play host to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
