This week, the Sun Belt really moves into conference mode, with the only non-league matchup being Louisiana's trip to #1 Alabama.

There are four league games on tap.  Here's an early look.

ULM (2-2, 0-1) (-7') at GEORGIA STATE (1-3, 0-0) 1:00 pm ESPN+--The Warhawks just got behind by too much early against Troy,  and as a result, their push at the end wasn't enough.  The Panthers have had a tough non-conference schedule and have lost three straight.  The Warhawks are looking to go bowling.  They need this one.

SOUTH ALABAMA (1-3, 1-0)(+26') at APPALACHIAN STATE (2-1, 0-0) 2:30, ESPN+--South was probably more competitive last week against Memphis than many expected, but the reality is, they're 1-3 and traveling now to Boone.  It's been a couple of weeks since App has played anyone who can compete with them.  It remains to be seen if the Jaguars fit that bill.

COASTAL CAROLINA (3-1, 1-0) (+14') at TROY (3-1, 1-0) 2:30pm ESPN3--The Chants passed their first test in league play and stay on the road this week.  Can Coastal's defense slow down the offense of the Trojans, who got a nice road win at ULM last week.  Troy will need to do a good job figuring out Coastal's spread option.  If they can, they'll go to 2-0.

ARKANSAS STATE (3-1, 0-0) (-3) at GEORGIA SOUTHERN (2-1, 0-0) 5:00, ESPN+--Its the conference opener for both schools.  The Red Wolves navigated their non conference schedule as well as possible.  Any other team in America playing their schedule would be no better than 3-1.  But it's not like Blake Anderson's club is just blowing people out.  Georgia Southern has had an extra week to prepare for this one.  Is the Eagles' defense ready for Justice Hansen?  If the answer is yes, this could be a really good one.
