A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun basketball star had a good week in the professional ranks last week.

Bartley averaged a double-double of 19.3 points, to go along with 11.3 rebounds-per-game for the St. John Riptide last week, helping his team to two wins in three games.

Saint John is located in New Brunswick, a Canadian province.

The Riptide are currently 12-18 on the season.

A native of Baton Rouge, and a graduate of Christian Life High School, Bartley scored 1,090 points in his collegiate career, one of only 48 players in UL basketball history to eclipse 1,000 points, despite playing only two seasons at the school, after transferring from BYU.

A 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard, Bartley, who averaged 17.8 points-per-game for the Cajuns last season, was named a First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection, as well as a First-Team All-Louisiana pick.

The 24-year old Bartley was also tabbed the 2018 LSWA Player of the Year last season.
