A former member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will be continuing her softball career at a west coast school.

Catcher Tiana Patrick, who appeared in four games for Louisiana last season, has transferred to California Baptist University, according to Softball America.

Patrick, who can play multiple positions other than catcher, including shortstop, only had two plate appearances for UL last season, with a walk and a strikeout.

A native of Eastvale, California, and a graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Patrick transferred to the Cajuns after playing one season for the Santa Ana Dons, where she led the team in stolen bases and runs scored, with 19 and 33, respectively. In addition, she hit .354, had 45 hits, had a .399 on-base percentage, and stroked five doubles during her freshman season.

Patrick will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

California Baptist, located in Riverside, California, is a member of the WAC.

The Lancers compiled an overall record of 21-33 in 2018.

We wish Tiana the best of luck at CBU.
