A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball signee has transferred to a school in The Lone Star State.

Softball America lists infielder Mila Rodriguez as having transferred to Texas Southern, members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll last season, Rodriguez redshirted and did not appear in a game for Louisiana.

A native of Tracy, California, Rodriguez attended Millennium High School, where she hit a career .537 to go along with 41 home runs and 238 runs batted in.

Rodriguez will have four seasons of eligibility remaining at Texas Southern.

Rodriguez becomes the 5th player on last season's UL roster to find a new home, joining Casidy Chaumont (Missouri), Aeriyl Mass (Southeastern Louisiana), Tiana Patrick (California Baptist), and Caylon Brabham (McNeese).
