Former UL Athlete On Wheel Of Fortune

A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun athlete was recently a contestant on the popular game show Wheel of Fortune.

Mary Walters, who played for the UL soccer team from 2013-2016, appeared on the game show on Tuesday night.

Walters, who prepped at Valor Christian High School in Denver, Colorado, remains in Lafayette, and now works at Daiquiris Supreme on Johnston Street location.

No, she didn't win, but Walters did something most could only dream of.
