Former Lousiana Ragin' Cajun Christian Ringo has found himself a new home in the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys have been dealing with some injuries along their defensive front, Maliek Collins is still being held out of practice as the team readies itself for their game against the Detroit Lions. They were hoping to get Datone Jones back on the field but he recently had a setback and now finds himself on IR, and Adolphus Washington was recently snagged by the Cincinnati Bengals off their practice squad.

Ringo was drafted during the 2015 NFL Draft in the sixth round by the Green Bay Packers. He spent his rookie year on the practice squad and then activated to the 53-man roster the following year in 2016 before the Packers released him in 2017.

In his career, he's got a total of five tackles and a forced fumble in the 14 games he's played in the league. Something also of note, he spent time on the Detroit Lions practice squad and active roster last season, that is the Cowboys opponent this week.
