After signing with Seattle Seahawks' practice squad, former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun cornerback Simeon Thomas is signing with the Washington Redskins, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

After being drafted by Cleveland in the 6th round of the 2018 draft, Thomas was waived by the Browns, claimed by the Seahawks, then waived by Seattle six days later and signed to their practice squad last year.

Thomas is one of two Ragin' Cajuns currently on NFL active rosters.

His former teammate Tracy Walker is the starting free safety for the Detroit Lions.

Louisiana alum Elijah McGuire, who was on the New York Jets the previous two seasons, is currently a member of the Cleveland Browns practice squad.
