Antonio Blakeney went undrafted out of LSU in 2017 but was able to garner an invite to the Chicago Bulls Summer League team. He got an opportunity, he impressed last year during Summer League action enough to sign a two-way G-League contract with the team. Another opportunity for the young man to show what he could do and boy did he ever with the Windy City Bulls last season.

He impressed to the point of being named the G-League Rookie of the Year last year when he averaged 32 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and over a steal per game. He got a cup of coffee with the Chicago Bulls last season and he averaged 7.9 points per game during 19 games played.

Blakeney was offered yet another opportunity to compete for the Bulls on their Summer League team and again he impressed as he led the team in scoring with 21 points per game in five games.

On Thursday he was rewarded in a big way from the big club as the team has officially signed the 21 year old, 6'4" guard to an NBA contract with the Chicago Bulls. The terms of the deal were not yet disclosed but congratulations to the former LSU Tiger Antonio Blakeney.
