Title town has a little more Ragin' Cajun flavor today as the Green Bay Packers signed former Louisiana wide receiver James Butler after a tryout.

Butler joins his old Cajun teammates Christian Ringo and Alonzo Harris on the Packers roster.

Butler finished his career at Louisiana with 87 receptions for 1,130 yards and 4 touchdowns, using his 6'2, 215 pound frame to make highlight catches.

Last season as as senior, he reeled in 38 receptions for 470 yards.

It was 10 years ago to the day that Butler and his family evacuated their New Orleans East home with Hurricane Katrina approaching. While his family had to move several times, Butler never gave up his love of football.

Congratulations and best of luck to Butler.
