A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun is off to a quick start in the junior college softball ranks.

Teryn Pritchett, part of Louisiana's 2017-2018 signing class, is off to a hot start for Seminole State College (Oklahoma), at least at the plate.

The 5-foot-6 Pritchett, who never appeared in a game for UL last season, despite beginning the year on the Cajuns' roster, is hitting a .484 through 19 games this season, to go along with 3 home runs, 26 runs batted in, and 3 stolen bases.

A native of Palmer, Texas, who signed as a pitcher/catcher with Louisiana out of high school, Pritchett hasn't had as much success inside of the circle, allowing 8 runs on 9 hits over 6.0 innings of work.

A sophomore at Seminole St. College, Pritchett has compiled the majority of her playing time in the outfield this season, while also seeing time at both pitcher and catcher.
