He hasn't participated at all during the preseason so this doesn't come as a surprise.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced today they have placed tight end Ladarius Green on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

The reason for the move is still unclear.  Green and the Steelers have said the problem is an ankle injury, but there have also been reports Green has suffered from recurring headaches after Green's agent said the ankle was "fine."

The former Ragin' Cajun suffered several concussions during his four years in San Diego.  He signed a four year, $20 million contract in the off-season.

Green will be unable to play through week six as a result of the roster move.
