For the first time in his career, Tiger Woods is not ranked in the top 1,000.

The 14-time Major winner comes in ranked 1,005 in the world in this week's edition of the World Golf Rankings.

Per Will Gray of The Golf Channel, since Woods turned pro at age 17, the lowest ranking he had when breaking into the pro circuit was 730.

Now, at age 41, a man who spent 683 weeks of his career ranked #1 in the world, has fallen out of the top 1,000.

Woods has only played in 7 events over the last two years, failing to accumulate points in 4 of those events.

Dustin Johnson is currently the #1 ranked player in the world, and a favorite heading into the British Open, which begins Thursday at Royal Birkdale.
