The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, along with their fans, the Acadiana area, and the entire softball world, are all obviously still mourning the loss of Geri Ann Glasco.

The daughter of Louisiana head softball coach Gerry Glasco, Geri Ann was killed in a car crash in Lafayette early Thursday morning.

Glasco, who was serving as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Cajuns, was 24 years old.

FloSoftball, who does a great job covering the sport paid a nice tribute to Geri Ann, who was named the SEC Co-Freshman of the Year at Georgia, before transferring to Oregon for her final two years of eligibility.

The tribute includes video footage of Glasco from her playing days, as well as Twitter reactions from such notables as Megan Kleist, a two-time All-American at Oregon, who will be playing for the Cajuns in 2020, as well as Texas head coach Mike White, who coached Glasco at Oregon.
