The defending national champion Florida St. Seminoles are the top-ranked team in the Associated Press preseason poll, which was released on Sunday.

Florida St., who defeating Auburn, 34-31 in the final BCS title game a season ago, received 57 of a possible 60 first-place votes.

This marks the sixth time in program history that the Seminoles have been ranked #1 in the preseason, and the first time since 1999.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is ranked second, followed by the Oregon Ducks, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Ohio St. Buckeyes at number five.

Alabama, Oregon, and Oklahoma received received one first-place vote, to account for the three which didn't go to Florida St.

Rounding out the top ten, it's Auburn, UCLA, Michigan St., South Carolina, and Baylor.

Stanford and Georgia are ranked 11th and 12th, respectively, with the LSU Tigers coming in at #13, followed by Wisconsin at #14, and USC at #15.

At 16-20 it's Clemson, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Arizona St., and Kansas St.

Texas A&M, Nebraska, North Carolina, Missouri, and Washington round out the top 25, at 21-25, respectively.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, the preseason pick to win the Sun Belt Conference, received one vote in the poll, the only team from the conference to receive a vote.
