Bad news for New Orleans Saints fans.  It looks like Joe Burrow won't pull a John Elway or an Eli Manning and refuse to play for the team that drafts him first overall.

Right now, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from LSU is projected by ESPN to be selected first overall by his hometown team, the Cincinnati Bengals (Burrow went to high school two-and-a-half hours away in The Plains, Ohio). According to Burrow's father, that's quite alright by Joe.

In an interview with TSN Radio, Jim Burrow said his son would be up for the challenge of leading the Bengals back to prominence. The elder Burrow said this about his son playing in Cincinnati:

He's excited to even be in that conversation. If the Bengals do draft  him, he's gonna be happy. He's always done. . . You've probably seen some of his interviews. He's very confident. He'll look at it as a challenge, but he'll be confident that eventually they can win a lot of games there in Cincinnati.
