Hopefully, after round one of the playoffs, you're still alive and well readying yourself for the semi-finals. There were a ton of injuries in week fourteen so there will need to be plenty of maneuvering as we're moving forward.

Even if you were eliminated or are playing in your league's toilet bowl you still gotta stick with it. Keep it up.

As a rule of thumb, if you're new to our weekly fantasy football column we don't look at players off the waiver wire who are owned in more than 50% of leagues and we use ESPN.

Happy hunting.

QUARTERBACKS:

Ryan Tannehill, TEN vs. HOU (41% Owned)

In case you haven't been paying attention Ryan Tannehill has been crushing it lately in his second chance out in Tennessee. Over his last seven games, he's averaged just over 22 fantasy points a game and is the owner of the longest streak in the league over those seven games with two touchdown passes as well. There's not much more to see or talk about here.

Gardner Minshew, JAX @ OAK (13% Owned)

Minshew mania is back in full swing and last week we figured it would be a tough week as he was taking on a good Los Angeles Chargers defense. However, this week should be much more fruitful as he's facing an Oakland Raiders defense that just got lit up by the aforementioned Ryan TanneTHRILL. The Raiders rank 31st against opposing fantasy quarterbacks this season if you're streaming QB's you may want to ride with the mustache this week.

RUNNING BACKS:

DeAndre Washington, OAK vs. JAX (10% Owned)

With Josh Jacobs, a late scratch last week Washington stepped in and performed extremely well. He not only led the way carries-wise but he also out-touched Jalen Richard reception wise as well with six. Jacobs is dealing with a shoulder injury that's supposed to be a pain tolerance issue so if he can't stand the pain it seems the job will be up to Mr. Washington.

Adrian Peterson, WSH vs. PHI (44% Owned)

It's really unfortunate that young runner Derrius Guice hurt his knee again in Washington's loss Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. He had an MRI on Monday and there's no damage to his ACL, he's already been ruled out for this week and the Redskins are going to be cautious with him to finish out the season. With all that being said, Adrian Peterson will jump right back into his early-down workhorse back role. If you need someone to step in who's going to have the chance to get you some yardage and a score you look towards AP.

Boston Scott, PHI @ WSH (0.2 % Owned)

This former New Orleans Saints draft pick seems to be the one that got away now that he's getting a shot here in Philly. Miles Sanders led the way in terms of carries but Scott was much more effective, was effective in the passing game, and plunged into the end-zone Monday night. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson loves his running backs by committee but if Jordan Howard continues to miss games it could be another effective game for the Darren Sproles like back. In addition, he's got a really nice match-up with the Washington Redskins who rank 23rd against opposing fantasy running backs.

WIDE RECEIVERS:

Darius Slayton, NYG vs. MIA (33% Owned)

What a half of football for the young Giants receiver as he went for 154 yards and two scores, that got you 32 fantasy points and he got nothing the rest of the way. In two of his last four games, he's scored 30+ fantasy points and has double-digit fantasy points in five of his last six games. He's the new go-to guy in this awkward New York offense who can hit big plays.

Zach Pascal, IND @ NO (31% Owned)

We're not sure if Colts top receiver T.Y. Hilton will be back this season and if he does come back how effective will he truly be? Zach Pascal continues to produce in his absence and has been the go-to guy. After a clunker in week 12, Pascal has gone off the previous two weeks averaging just under 20 fantasy points and would seem to have a great match-up this week against the New Orleans Saints who have struggled in the secondary recently. In fact, the Saints rank 30th against opposing fantasy receivers this season. Fire him up.

TIGHT ENDS:

Ian Thomas CAR vs. SEA (0.6% Owned)

With Greg Olson out with a concussion, the young tight end Ian Thomas stepped up and produced this week in a nice way as he saw 10 targets, caught five balls for 57 yards and a touchdown. If you've got an injury at tight end or are streaming go with Thomas especially if Olson is out again and the Seahawks rank 31st against opposing fantasy tight ends.

Additional dart throws at tight end:

-Dallas Goedert PHI @ WSH (43% Owned)

-Tyler Higbee LAR @ DAL (11% Owned)

-Jonnu Smith TEN vs. HOU (7% Owned)

Best of luck in week fifteen.
