Evangeline Downs Throws Down This Saturday With Fightville

This Saturday night at Evangeline Downs, the first fight card of the promotion Fightville MMA will take place.

Fightville MMA was featured in the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary Fightville.

Former UFC fighter 'Crazy' Tim Credeur founded Gladiator Academy, a leader in MMA training and instruction. This Saturday, Gladiator Academy looks to become the top name in the local MMA game as they present a 12 fight card.

The show begins this Saturday at 7:30pm at Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster as well as Evangeline Downs, starting at $35.

A third of the 12 fight card features professional fights, including a bout for the Fightville Lightweight Title in the main event as Zach Fears (3-2) battles Matt Mooney (4-1).
