ESPN.com is reporting Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is going to have an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee, perhaps as early as tomorrow.

The procedure is to remove a particle causing irritation to cartilage.

It is not related to the injury suffered by Richardson which required scoping back in February.  He suffered a torn meniscus with that injury.

This procedure is not considered invasive and the team says Richardson should be back before the start of the regular season.
