Erin Dixson Joins Georgia St. Softball Staff

A former LSU staffer was recently named to the softball coaching staff of a Sun Belt Conference school.

Erin Dixson was named the new pitching coach at Georgia St. in the early part of August.

A former college pitcher at Mississippi Community College and Eckerd College, Dixson spent last season as the pitching coach at Lamar.

Prior to her stint at Lamar, Dixson spent two seasons as the graduate manager at LSU, and was in the dugout in 2017, when the Tigers advanced to the 2017 softball College World Series.

During her time at LSU, Dixson also served as the volunteer pitching coach for Zachary High School.
