Eric Reid Receives Honor

 LSU sophomore safety Eric Reid was named the Nagurski player of the week today after his terrific play for the Tigers in their 9-6 overtime win over Alabama last Saturday night.

Reid finished with 6 tackles, 1 forced fumbles, and a game-changing interception near the LSU goal line in the fourth quarter.

With the weekly honor, Reid has been added to the 2011 Bronco Nagurski watch list. The award is given after the regular season to the best defensive player in the NCAA.
