The Los Angeles Dodgers are running away from the rest of the National League but that hasn't stopped them from making moves to get better.

The Dodgers have already picked up coveted right hander Yu Darvish from Texas, along with a couple of left handed relievers.

Now they've added veteran outfield depth.

The Dodgers, who have won 51 of their last 60 games, acquired OF Curtis Granderson from the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations and a player to be named later.

Granderson was in his fourth season with the Mets after four seasons with the Yankees. He was hitting .228 with 19 homers and 52 RBI in 111 games.  He is in the final year of a four year, $60 million contract.
