A former Sun Belt Conference pitching standout has been named an assistant coach for a school in a neighboring state to Louisiana.

Devin Lowe, the former Devin Brown, who played four seasons for South Alabama, from 2014-2018, was recently named an assistant coach at Southern Miss.

A graduate of Theodore High School in Mobile, Alabama, Lowe was tabbed a three-time All-Sun Belt First Team selection, a two-time First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection and an NFCA All-South Region Second Team selection during her time at South Alabama.
