On Saturday, New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter collected an infield single off of Cleveland Indians pitcher Cory Kluber, for hit number 3,431 in his illustrious career, moving him past Honus Wagner, and into sole possession of sixth place on the all-time Major League Baseball hits list.

Next on the list, at number five, is Tris Speaker, with 3,514, who Jeter likely will not catch, due to his decision to retire at the end of the season.
