The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have some more competition in their bid to sign a prep star from the state of Texas.

Lucas Coley, a quarterback from Judson High School in Converse, Texas, was offered by Dartmouth on Thursday.

The Advertiser's Tim Buckley alerted us to the offer that Coley received.

Louisiana was the very first Division I school to offer Coley when they did so in January of last year.

Coley later made an official visit to UL in April.

Coley has also reportedly been offered by such schools as Houston, Liberty, Texas St., UTSA, Sam Houston St., and Illinois St,

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Coley, who recently completed his junior season, is scheduled to graduate in 2021.
