During an interview in Sirius XM NFL Radio, former LSU running back Derrius Guice was asked if NFL teams asked him odd questions at the NFL Scouting Combine last week.

Guice claims he was asked if he liked men sexually, and if his mother "sells herself".

Sit down interviews with teams at the NFL Combine often compared to job interviews, but probably shouldn't be.

In what kind of job interview can someone ask questions like that?

As Guice's interview made headlines, the NFL released the following statement today:

“A question such as that is completely inappropriate and wholly contrary to league workplace policies.

“The NFL and its clubs are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees in a manner that is consistent with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, state and federal laws and the CBA. We are looking into the matter.

“The league annually reminds clubs of these workplace policies that prohibit personnel from seeking information concerning a player’s sexual orientation.”

The league office claimed it was investigating the matter.
