Are the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns heading to their second-consecutive bowl game, and 7th in the last 9 years?

Well, with the Cajuns currently riding a 4-game win streak and sporting a 4-1 record, at least one major media outlet seems to think so.

247Sports projects Louisiana to play in the Mobile Bowl, which is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama.

Brad Crawford projects that UL will face Toledo in the game.

It's the fifth consecutive week that Crawford and 247Sports project Louisiana to face Toledo in the Mobile Bowl.

That could change in next week's projections, depending on how the Cajuns fare on Wednesday night when they host Appalachian St. in a huge Sun Belt Conference game at Cajun Field.

UL went 7-7 last season, their first under head coach Billy Napier, including a spot in the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Championship Game, a 30-19 setback to Appalachian St., as well as a 41-24 loss to Tulane in the Cure Bowl.

This season, the Cajuns are doing even better.

Louisiana, who was idle last Saturday, won their fourth-straight game on Saturday, September 28, defeating Georiga Southern, 37-24, in their conference opener, to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Again, the Cajuns return to the gridiron on Wednesday evening, when they play host to the Appalachian St. Mountaineers in a 7 o'clock match-up at Cajun Field.

Also of note; the site projects LSU and Texas to square off in the Sugar Bowl, in a re-match of a game played earlier this year.

The projected 4-team College Football Playoff Field includes Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio St.
