For only the third time in their 41 year franchise history, the Los Angeles Clippers have won a playoff  series. Chris Paul (19 pts, 9 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls) and the Clippers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on the road Sunday afternoon by the score of 82-72.

Aside from Paul (pictured left), the biggest reason for the Clippers victory was the outstanding play of their bench. Los Angeles outscored Memphis in bench points 41-11. Veteran Kenyon Martin scored 11 points and pulled down 10 boards in 25 minutes for the game's only double-double.

Next up for the Clip, a second round matchup with the top-seeded Spurs starting Tuesday night in San Antonio.

Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol each scored 19 for Memphis, who lost a Game 7 in the playoffs for the second straight season.
