This is video of Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez hitting a home run off of Atlanta Braves pitcher Paul Maholm in the first inning on Wednesday night, before the respective benches cleared, and he, along with two other players, were ejected.

Gomez, who was still upset about being hit by a pitch by Maholm back in June, stared down Maholm after a swing and a miss, before belting an 0-1 pitch over the left-centerfield wall for his 23rd home run of the season.

After he connected with the pitch, Gomez stood in the batter's box and flipped his bat, while staring down Maholm.

Gomez then began yelling at Maholm as he slowly began his home run trot up the first base line, before getting into a verbal altercation with Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman.

After continuing with verbal jabs toward Maholm as he rounded second and third base, Gomez was met by Atlanta catcher Brian McCann up the third base line, before he could touch home plate, which cleared both benches.

Gomez and Freeman were both ejected, for pushes in the incident, while Braves catcher Gerald Laird was ejected later in the game.

Gomez, who said after the game that he didn't regret his actions, has since apologized on his twitter account.
