Cantrelle Named First Team All-Region by ABCA

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns shortstop Hayden Cantrelle has received another post-season honor as the junior-to-be has been named First Team All-Region by the American Baseball Coaches' Association.

Cantrelle, recently named first team All-Sun Belt, put together a solid campaign, starting in alll 59 games at shortstop. He led the team with a .930 OPS, 119 total bases, 56 runs scored and 28 stolen bases.  He also reached base in each of the first 34 games of the season.

In addition, Cantrelle homered three times in one game this past season at Little Rock and hit for the cycle at Russo Park against Northwestern State.

Cantrelle is playing in the Cape Cod League this summer for the Falmouth Commodores.
