The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will play the 2020 college softball season without the services of Callie Martin.

An outfielder, Martin transferred to Louisiana following the 2019 season.

Martin has elected to forego her final two years of eligibility, giving up softball to focus on academics and her life after college.

A native of Raymore, Missouri, Martin played the first two years of her collegiate career at Missouri, where she was a two-year starter, including last past season, when she hit .237 with three home runs and 18 runs batted in as the starting centerfielder for the Tigers.

A product of Raymore -Peculiar High School, Martin was named First Team All-State in the state of Missouri, after recording a .577 average, 47 runs scored, 40 RBI's, 13 runs scored, a .620 on-base percentage, and a 1.186 slugging percentage.

We wish Callie the best of luck.
