Ouch.

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns wide received Jared Johnson will undergo season ending knee surgery after being injured in practice Saturday evening.

The news was reported by Tim Buckley on theadvertiser.com late Sunday evening.

According to the report, Johnson tore a tendon Saturday night and the surgery will be to repair that injury.  Johnson, a 6-5 junior, caught three touchdown passes last season.

The report went on to say slot receiver Gabe Fuselier has been moved outside opposite Jamal Robinson. Fuselier caught 30 passes a year ago.  True freshman Gary Haynes is now running behind senior Al Riles as the slot receiver.

Johnson is the second veteran receiver lost since the spring.  C. J. Bates was dismissed from the team during the offseason for violation of team rules.
