Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns won their sixth straight game today, defeating Sun Belt foe North Texas by the score of 30-10. The Cajuns 6-1 record is the best start for a team in the history of the Sun Belt conference. Speaking of which, UL is 4-0 in SBC play. The win also makes the Cajun bowl eligible after only 7 weeks.

Blaine Gautier threw 4 touchdown passes on 14-20 for 238 yards. Tight End LaDarius Green reeled in 2 of those scores.

Darryl Surgent finished with 109 yards through the air and one TD, while fellow WR Javone Lawson caught 4 balls, one of them for a score.

Senior linebacker Lance Kelley finished with a fumble recovery and an interception.

The homecoming crowd came out today, as the final attendance was 32,823. Cajun fans will have only one more opportunity to see their team at home, as Louisiana will now play 4 of their last 5 games on the road.

Next week the Cajuns travel to Bowling Green to take on Western Kentucky. Kickoff is set for 3:00.
