Louisiana head baseball coach Tony Robichaux has made an adjustment to his weekend rotation for the three game series against Georgia Southern at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

The Eagles will see a trio of left handed starters in the series.

Gunner Leger (8-2, 1.63) will be the Friday starter, while Hogan Harris (3-1, 2.63) will have his usual Sunday start.

The change will be on Saturday as Colten Schmidt (1-0, 1.00) will get his first start of the season.  Schmidt was projected to be a weekend starter, but has missed most of the season with shoulder issues.  His health is fine now.  This will be Schmidt's fourth appearance of the season.  He has allowed three runs, one earned, with two walks and seven strikeouts in nine innings of work.

Georgia Southern will start pre-season All-Conference selection, LHP Evan Challenger (2-4, 4.29) on Friday. Challenger, a fifth year senior,  is the reigning SBC Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game three hitter against LIttle Rock last Saturday.  Sophomore RHP Chase Cohen (3-3, 4.11) will start on Saturday, while RHP Seth Shuman (4-0, 3.90) will make his first conference start of the season this Sunday.  Shuman, a freshman two sport athlete, started at quarterback for the Eagles against Louisiana back in November.

Game times are 6:00pm Friday and Saturday and 12:00 noon on Sunday.  All games can be heard on 96.5 KPEL-FM.
