The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Sports Information Department received a national honor Thursday when they were recognized as one of the "Super 11" by the Football Writers Association of America.

One school from each of the FBS conferences was recognized by the Association.  Louisiana is the fourth school from the Sun Belt to be honored, joining Troy, Western Kentucky and South Alabama as past recipients.

Matt Sullivan joined the Louisiana Staff as an assistant in 2013 after many years as Sports Information Director at Southeastern Louisiana and is completing his second year in charge of the department.  Jeff Schneider and Matt Hebert are his full time assistants, with Kim Lakner on the staff as well.  Brad Kemp is the photographer.

Louisiana was joined by Clemson (ACC), Houston (American), Kansas State (Big 12), Indiana (Big 10), Mississippi State (SEC), Northern Illinois (MAC), Pittsburgh (ACC), USC (Pac-12), Utah State (Mountain West) and Western Kentucky (Conference USA).

All of us at ESPN1420 understand the tireless work the Sports Information office does and the long hours they put in.  We join the rest of the media in Acadiana in congratulating them on this much deserved honor.
