Cajuns Put 6 On Mardi Gras All-Tournament Team

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team was honored for their 4-0 weekend at the 8th Annual Mardi Gras Inivitational by landing 6 players on the All-Tournament team. Two Cajuns shared Co-MVP tournament honors as well.

Freshmen pitcher Jordan Wallace, who was 2-0 over the weekend, threw a no-hitter in a 9-0 win over Louisiana Tech. She was honored as Co-MVP of the tournament. She shared the honor with teammate Christi Orgeron. The Senior right fielder hit the ball with authority. She led the team with a .615 batting average, four homeruns, 15 RBI, nine runs, 22 total bases, 1.692 slugging percentage and an on base percentage of .625.

Ashley Brignac, Matte Haack, Erikka Murphy, and Katie Smith all joined them on the All-Tournament Team.
