The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns try to get back to the .500 mark in conference play as they play host to in-state rival ULM tonight at the Cajundome.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 and can be heard on KHXT-FM (HOT 107..9) beginning at 6:30.

It is also basketball reunion weekend and all former players in attendance will be recognized at halftime of the game, including Coach Dutch Reinhardt's final team (1956-57).

It's the second meeting between the two schools with ULM taking a 99-95 win in Monroe January 19th.  In that contest, ULM's Daishon Smith and Michael Ertel combined for 50 points as the Warhawks (13-10, 6-5) held off a furious Cajuns' comeback in the second half.  ULM led by as many as 22 points in the first half.  JaKeenan Gant had 31 points and 12 rebounds in that first meeting while P. J. Hardy had a career high 24.

That loss is the only loss the Cajuns(14-10, 5-6)  have had by six points or fewer.  Louisiana is 6-1 in those games this season.

Tonight's game features the two leading scorers in conference games with Gant averaging 26.4 points and Smith pouring in 24.6

This is the 79th meeting between the two schools with Louisiana holding a 54-24 lead in the series, including a 17-9 mark since ULM joined the Sun Belt Conference in 2006.
