Cajuns On Road To Take On Idaho – What You Need To Know
Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday afternoon, when coach Mark Hudspeth’s squad travels to Moscow, Idaho, to take on the Idaho Vandals in a Sun Belt Conference contest.
Pregame coverage begins at 2 pm on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, with the rest of the network, including Hot 107.9 and 1079ishot.com, joining the broadcast at 3 o’clock.

Kickoff time at the Kibbie Dome is set for 4 pm.
Louisiana, who was idle last week, dropped their Sun Belt Conference opener back on September 23, falling to the ULM Warhawks at Cajun Field, 56-56, in double overtime, is 1-3, overall, and 0-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
Offensively, the Cajuns are averaging 41.0 points-per-game, to go along with 448.5 total yards, including 203.3 rush yards and 245.5 pass yards.
Defensively, Louisiana has allowed 53.8 points a contest, to go along with 563.5 of total offense, including 299.0 rush yards and 264.5 pass yards.
UL is led by quarterback Jordan Davis, who has thrown for 676 yards and 5 touchdowns, and running back Trey Ragas, who rushed for 375 yards and 4 touchdowns on only 46 carries.
Idaho, who was also idle last week, defeated South Alabama, 29-23, in double overtime, back on September 23, to improve to 2-2, overall, and 1-0 in league play.

Defensively, Idaho has allowed an average of 27.5 points-per-game, to go along with 359.2 total yards, including 208.7 rush yards and 151.5 pass yards.
The Vandals are paced by quarterback quarterback Matt Linehan, who has thrown for 926 yards and 7 touchdowns, and running back Aaron Duckworth, who has rushed for 377 yards and two scores.
Louisiana leads the all-time series, 3-2, but Idaho won the last match-up, winning 23-13 last season at Cajun Field.
